Cleaning & Treatment ::.
Over 40% of the population is affected by allergies.
- Common airborne allergens include
dust mites, pollens, pet dander, mold, and fungi.
- Because every person is different, there are virtually thousands of allergens that can affect each person in different ways or not at all.
- While it is important to diagnose the specific allergen that is causing you problems, a great solution for any airborne allergens is a thorough extraction cleaning on all
carpet, Ducts,
furniture and mattresses in the home.
V Care Inc provides in a clear water extraction process using hot clean water with no detergents or chemicals followed by a powerful extraction.
This process leaves your carpet clean and free of airborne allergens as well as chemicals or detergent residue left by other methods of cleaning.
Because allergens are always in the air, regular cleaning will be necessary to keep the allergen levels down. Frequent vacuuming between professional cleanings is also recommended.
One airborne allergen that currently has a proven carpet and furniture treatment is the dust mite. Because dust mites feed primarily on our dead skin cells, our beds, sofas and any other place that we spend a great deal of time are prime breeding grounds for dust mites.
Recent studies have shown that the dust mite bi-product is the actual agent that causes allergic reactions in people. V Care Inc uses an anti-allergen spray that physically alters the dust mite dropping and renders it harmless to allergy sufferers.
Dust
Mite Allergen
What is it?
Although there are many components in house dust to which people
may be allergic, the biggest culprit is the dust mite. Dust mites are eight-legged arachnids, relatives of the spider. The dust mite is
microscopic and therefore cannot be seen by the human eye. Most allergic people react to waste particles produced by the dust mite.
These particles continue to cause allergic symptoms even after the mite who produced them has died.
Where Dust Mites Live
Dust mites are present in nearly all homes. The photophobic mites thrive in a dark, warm and humid environment found in pillows, mattresses, box springs, blankets, carpets, and upholstered furniture. Literally millions of mites can inhabit a single bed as it provides both a perfect condition for growth and their greatest food source – the shed scales from human skin.
